Portes du Soleil - 650kms of Mountain Biking Tracks

Chatel is just one of many resorts of the Portes du Soleil area. At the end of June each year, the ski lifts are adapted to carry your bikes up the mountain affording you the opportunity to link to the many different areas. This means for example, it is possible to bike 85kms routes with only 400m ascent total. The lifts close in the middle of September, so be sure to book your place as we only have limited weeks availble with this luxury. There are various routes for all abilities whether you are with your family or with a group of serious bikers, we will assist you in getting the most out of your mountain biking experience.

Super Chatel and Pre Le Joux on their own have over 90kms of marked trails to explore. Combine this with all the other resorts in the Portes du Soleil and this increases to 650kms! With our extensive knowledge we can take you to many great areas for the ultimate ride encompassing such towns and villages like Champery, Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets. We also have the knowledge to reach other parts of the Mountains others rarely visit and can give you options to cool off.......
